We brought Raenen to the Pixar exhibition at Science Center the other day, as most of his fav cartoons characters are from the works of Pixar studio, Toy cast - Woody & Buzz Lightyear, McQueen and Mater in Cars movie, the Incredibles family.
It's an eye opener to us, the sketches of the characters were exhibited, it's so amazing that they actually need 4 years to produce a 2-hour animation. It's HARD WORK. Previously, I was trying to explain to Raenen about the making of cartoons, simply by drawing and flipping and it would seem that the characters are moving. But this exhibition, we realised its not just the simple sketches or drawing that will make the cartoons stand out. the computer graphics and the lightings, the story line makes the whole movie captivating yet at the same time entertaining!

Asher's Birthday @ Peek-a-Boo

11:43 PM
It was a GOOD FRIDAY, Raenen was invited for Asher's 5th birthday party at Peek-a-boo at Kallang leisure park. it's a convenient place for us as we are just staying not too far away. We had an early lunch as the party is starting at 130pm.
Raenen had a lot of fun with his school friends, they are so familiar with each other so there is no need any ice-breaker games... just play, play and more play!
When we bring Raenen for such parties, I will try to mingle around and chit chat. Its quite a good way of getting to know one another and knowing more about Raenen's friends too. This time round, I get to meet some parents that I never met previously. Found out that Asher's mummy had just given birth and has started to use the Beco carrier for the 7 weeks baby sister. It was a nice afternoon'chit chatting away...
some nice shots of them playing

Raemus Church Dedication
11:37 PM
27 March 2010 marks Raemus's Church Dedication. He was such a sleepyhead that day, fell asleep after his milk feed, and slept all the way till the whole Church Service ended. He was so sound asleep, totally not affected by the music and the clapping when we were in the main hall. I'm so glad he is dedicated to the Lord, we know he is in good hands!
God, bless and watch over our Raemus, make him the person you want him to be! Thank you Jesus for bringing such a bundle of joy into our family!

intelligent questions

OK, Raenen has been asking lots of questions recently... Spiritual ones, Science, Mathematics and many many... But I was caught by surprise one day when he asked me about the number of people living in Singapore... I safely told him its áround 4 million, then he went on to ask about America. I never quite need to know the population in USA so I absolutely have no idea. So I told him i'm not sure but I will find out for him. I searched the internet and found the answer. It's 309 million. For Singapore, we have grown in our population, no longer 4 million but 4.9 million. :) thank God for internet, but there are times internet can't help too.

Now that Raenen is coming to 5 years old, there are times when he asked me certain things and I can't answer them or explain to him in a manner that he can understand especially the things of God.
God, I need your wisdom.
Dreams
10:56 AM
wanna blog this down... I had a very long talk with Raenen just before his bedtime the other night, he suddenly told me that he doesn't want to go to that bridge again. I was wondering which bridge he was referring to... and he began to share that bridge is unstable and it is not safe. Not knowing anything, I assure him that we wouldn't bring him to anywhere that is not safe. Then he began to cry, saying he fell into the water when the bridge broke. There and then I realised he must have a bad dream. I told him it's not going to happen and it was just a bad dream. I assure him and told him about dreams... I shared with him the dreams I had, one bad dream and a good one. He laughed at my bad dream... At the end, he ask me to pray for him to have a good dream tonight. We prayed together and I've even lay hands on him to speak in tongues... ( he has been asking us about tongues on many occasions, trying to imitate us too) so he tried and we prayed in tongues together. It was wonderful. I pray that Raenen will experience God in a greater measure and knowing that God loves him a great great deal.
