The littles ones are in nursery while the older ones in children church during the many hours of AC sessions.
Little Merz was in nursery 4 for the first time and was so excited to see the little tikes kiddy ride on the nursery.

Usually, the extended family will have a get-together lunch to celebrate the birthday of great grandma's birthday on Labour day which is a public holiday. As the saying goes, 'the family that eats together, stays together'.
Nowadays it seems rare to have the whole extended family to come together. I can still vividly remember the times where the cousins will have fun when we have weekly gatherings. But it seems like as we grow older, the time gets lesser for these seemingly unimportant family gatherings/events. Somehow/sometimes we do fall into the rat race of the world and neglect the things/people that we are familiar with. I pray that Raenen and Raemus will know the importance of family and fillial piety, and all these start when they are young!

Gabby and Caelan's birthdays!

There are many birthday babies in the month of April in the family. First it's me and Yee Yee, next is Gabby and lastly it's Caelan. The family members were invited to a sumptuous dinner at Sakura for Gabby's birthday, food is nice and the crowd is amazing for a weekday dinner. We were slightly late as we were caught in a peak hour jam at PIE. Raenen was hungry and very eager to see Gabby, but was rather shy when he saw Gabby's paternal relatives whom he is not so familiar with. But the cake cutting brings excitement to him and he went forward to help the beloved birthday girl. Ok there are 3 candles, so there isn't any tussle to blow the candles. All went well!
For Caelan's birthday, the mini party was held at Yee Yee house. Raenen looks forward to go Yee Yee house due to the many toys available there, both the girly and the boyish! So we went and had a good time... remember cake cutting? it certainly brings lots excitement when it comes to blowing of the candles but Caelan has only ONE candle! And this cause some 'disagreement' between the TWO again. haiz... in the end, guess you got it right! The girl cried, throw tantrums, the boy didn't want to give in either... both suffered. So yes the photos show a teary-eye girl and a stubborn boy with the happy birthday boy and a going to be ONE baby with TWO beautiful mummies!
Tired = double eyelids

Both Raenen and Raemus have SINGLE eyelids when they were born. However, Raenen began to develop double eyelids in both of his eyes as he turns 3-ish.. And its permanent now. Last night, I noticed something diff about Merz's right eye.. Double eyelid!
Guess lack of sleep might have caused that as this morning this is what I see.

Raenen loves his brother, he takes great pride when his brother laughs at his funny actions/expressions. I love to take shots of them expressing love to each other, playing and having fun. But usually these moments are so impromptu and usually my phone is nearer to me than the cam. Quality of shots might not be as nice but the moments taken are just so heartwarming and beautiful.

Sundays are usually bonding time for daddy and the boys! Usually, we will plan some outdoor activities as Rae loves outdoor n also I would tend to only bring him to malls n supermarkets. So few Sundays back, They had a good time at the pool. Merz was so excited while at the poolside, laughing and kicking his legs onlooking daddy n Rae. Thus decided to let him have a dip too. So took off his diaper n off he went into the arms of daddy n the water. He was not as excited in the pool though. He finally smile only when he saw his brother swimming past him. It was a fun day!
