I want to blog this down as I want to remember these little details about our boy.
Everyday without fail... Raenen will tell me that he loves me/daddy before he falls asleep at nap/bedtime. He is a very loving boy and his love language is quality time and physical touch. From young, he loves to hold our hands and sleep.
These are some questions that he will ask me everyday without fail...
After school-- Are we meeting Gabby later?
In the evening-- Is Daddy having meeting today? What time is Daddy coming back today?
I never have to fuss about Rae's meals as he always finishes the food that we prepare for him. Like all toddlers, we started with cereals, then porridge for lunchthis/dinner. Porridge is always easy. The basic base ingredient is always pork rib, cod fish, potato and pumpkin. For variety, I would add broccoli, dried scallop and etc. He is never a picky eater. As he grows, there's no big fuss over food, just that he is a slow eater.
For Raemus, he has been resisting porridge. He prefers to eat rice. I don't have much recipes on cooking toddlers meals with steamed rice. So I've been trying out dishes that is both easy n tasty enough for him
Tried steamed pumpkin with rice- 10mins -Ate 3/4
Soup with Pork rib, carrots pumpkin and dried scallop, time-4 hrs slow cooker Ate 3/4
Steamed pumpkin with cod fish with basil and steamed pumpkin with rice- 15 mins Ate all
Raenen's cousin, Gabby came over to our place after cell group meeting. It was already near 12 midnight when we picked her up. They were so delighted to see each other, it's such a lovely sight to see them being nice to each other even when they're so tired ( usually tired = cranky). But they were very well-behaved, whispering and laughing softly at each others jokes.. Sweet!
Quickly prepared them for bedtime. Everything was in fast mode, but the 2 of them are simply too excited, i cant make them sleep so left them to themselves and they fell asleep past 1 am.
Raenen & Gabby woke up at 8 am on the Saturday morning, ready to 'plunge' into play mode. So they played, watched cartoon, swam. Thank God ah gong and popo came for the swim and bought us lunch too. Even Merz had a dip in the pool.
Raenen went with Yeeyee, popo & iris yee yee, together with the 3 cousins to Zoo during the sept holidays. I couldn't join them as Merz was down with fever.
From the pictures, I can see they had loads of fun that day. Heard the children were very well behaved thus making it easier for the grandparents and the 2 yee yees.
Compiled these pictures with dear's iPad app named photo wall. Saves much time then me using Photoshop elements in pc, though lesser functions.
Raenen is a good brother, he loves Merz a great deal. The 2 can have so much fun with each other that sometimes it can be too carried away. Right now, Merz is at the stage of learning to walk, Rae will willingly let merz hold on to him as he walks. It's such lovely sight to see them playing and supporting each other.
Rae likes to push Merz around in this little ride too. He even taught Merz to lift up his legs. Love the boys!

Raeann is borned on 6 August 2011, weighs 2.68kg at birth Raeann ,a combination of Rae and Ann, Ann actually means gracious
thus We use 恩 in Raeann chinese name 一恩
6 year old Raenen loves playing iphone, ipod & Ipad,
likes F1 racing cars models,
and loves to draw.
His current FAV is Beyblade, drawing and playing piano
Mcqueen and cars still have special place in his heart!
